2009 Annual Fall Festival

Friday night Stehekin had its annual "Fall Festival." Many came to enjoy the fun and game of the evening.

There were several booths where everyone could win a prize. There was even cakewalk where you could win a cake. You might wander into the "Pirates Lair" for a tattoo or to try your luck at hitting the notorious pirate herself! Dare to put your hand into a black hole in hopes of a prize but come up with goo, fish with a gorilla, hunt for mushrooms with an elf. All of these opportunities waited at the "Fall Festival." You might be found shooting nerf darts, spinning disks at a black hole, or pumpkins. A great favorite was throwing sticky balls at faces like...Mr. Scutt, or try for a donut hanging from a string for a snack. At another game, everyone had a chance to knock all the cans off a board for a prize. Kids gathered for "Balloon Stomp" throughout the evening. There were guessing jars again this year with a wide variety of goodies to guess. Lots of food and drink at the snack tables as well. A chance to knock all the cans off for a prize.

As always a great evening ended with Mr. Scutt reading a store or two around the fire.
