Katy Stuart, University of Washington graduate student, wants to share her research on the Stehekin western gray squirrels with you. You might have seen her or her crew working in the Stehekin woods over the past 3 years. She regrets that she was not able to meet all of you while she was here and hopes to talk with more Stehekin residents during a trip from January 7th-9th.

Look for a letter in your mailbox next week inviting you to

participate in one of three short educational presentations and

surveys. At each you will learn more about western gray squirrels and the unique North Cascades habitat, research goals and methods, and unique findings. All are family oriented with lots of photos and fun squirrel facts. Hope to see you there!
