Members of numerous public agencies will be in Stehekin June 30th to meet with community members there and discuss radio communications for the Stehekin Valley. The meeting will be at the Community Hall at 11:00. On behalf of Sheriff Harum, the Chelan County Sheriff's office in partnership with Fire District 5, Fire District 7, Fire District 10, the National Park Service and River Com, we would like invite you to meet with us to talk about radio communications for Stehekin. We also extend this invitation to the Forest Service since they are an integral part of what we do in this are of Chelan County. This is an
opportunity for the Chelan County Sheriff's Office to test the
radio's we currently have in Stehekin, look at other possible
sites for radio's, discuss a reporting procedure that best fits
the needs of the Stehekin community and have reporting that is
consistent with all of Chelan County. |
