Gold, Silver and Paint

Gold, Silver and Paint opens in the Golden West Gallery in Stehekin on August 15th. The exhibit features oil paintings by Diane Paton-Peel from Penticton, BC and Daniel Tuttle from Peshantin. Also, jewelry by German artist Franziska Kratz will be on display. The exhibit will be on display until September 10th. There is an opening reception on August 15th from 7:30 to 9:00 with the artists talking at 8:00 and Diane giving an oil painting demonstration. On Saturday, August 16th, Daniel will be talking about his painting 10:00 am.

The gallery is located in the Golden West Visitor Center in Stehekin. It is open daily from 8:30 to 5:00. The gallery is part of Arts and Humanities of Stehekin, a non-profit organization providing exhibits and programs that promote understanding and appreciation of the North Cascades through the arts. The gallery operates in a cooperative venture between Arts and Humanities of Stehekin and the North Cascades National Park.
