You are Here opens in the Golden West Gallery in Stehekin on September 11th featuring artwork by Jean Behnke from Lopez Island and local artist Mark Scherer. The mixed media exhibit will be on display until October 15th. There is an opening reception on Friday, September 11th from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm with the artists talking about their work at 8:00 pm.

Jean Behnke will be giving a workshop for both adults and children making collages at 2:00 on Friday, September 11th. There is a four dollar supply fee. It is recommended that people sign up in advance at the Golden West to guarantee a space.

The gallery is located in the Golden West Visitor Center in Stehekin and is open daily. The gallery is part of Arts and Humanities of Stehekin, a non-profit organization providing exhibits and programs that promote understanding and appreciation of the North Cascades through the arts. The gallery operates in a cooperative venture between Arts and Humanities of Stehekin and the North Cascades National Park.
