I have been given permission to pass on this letter by Gregg Herrington, a former long-time editor and political writer with The Associated Press and The (Vancouver, WA) Columbian and now the communications director for the Battle Ground, Wash., School District. His letter is one of the most succinct yet powerful that I have seen for a while!
